In the villages by the river Euphrates in Turkey, shepherds take the lambs to the grassy areas by the river early in the morning. The little lambs play by the Euphrates and feed on the aromatic oregano of the surrounding mountains.

While the lambs are busy with their lamb things, the shepherd creates his own pass time giving life to the mud of the river, making clay pottery, little houses, he listens to his radio, reads...

On the River Side we want to tell you the story of the shepherd and his furry friends, from a region that hosted the beginning of human civilization.

Like all of our kids rugs River Side is hand woven from hundred percent wool and natural dyes, kids health being our top priority.
