Kayseri carpets are one of the rare carpet types that can showcase the progression of Turkish hand knotted carpets as other Turkish hand knotted carpet types have mostly been lost during wars and other unnatural circumstantial situations. Kayseri carpets are commonly made using natural colours such as white, black, grey and certain shades of purple.
